At the risk of sounding simplistic there is only really one way to do this - and it can be done, it is just a little hard thats all.
You have to take better care of yourself, go easy on the Alcohol, food etc. Coffee good or bad for the High Blood Pressure? My experience has been that it was bad for me raising my blood pressure up by about 15 points.
Exercise is another good way of treating yourself - again another simplistic viewpoint but in my case it seems to be working.
In general, the following mantra has to be observed, get more exercise and lose some weight, cut back on the things that are causing you stress and go easy on the intake of artificial stimulants.
It might not be enough in all cases and indeed in some there will always be a need for High Blood Pressure Medication but it can be done.
